sankhya

I know
I have to hold you in my arms
And yet
you be you
and me be me,
If I let you and me merge,
You will die
And so will I

Yet
without the whiplash
Of your wild hair
Tearing my flesh
Softened and cooked
with longing for you
without ur descent
in a downpour of sparks
and set ablaze this heart

Im only a potential

Each morning your musky full body
Entwines over me
Steaming breath carelessly
setting my nerves screaming
And your molten body
washes over me
Im oozing out of myself
Aching to mix in ur waters
Intoxicated
by the promises of each glistening
salty bead
On ur pearly body
You leak
into my inflamed nerves
Like the saliva from a lovers mouth
And turn each of my senses
against me
to drink in completely
my undying breath
leaving me
pitiful,
slowly
maggot eaten
by time

I know
If I let you and me merge
You will die
And so will I

What then
of our whispered promises
Inside the translucent
curtains
of our covert, scented breaths
when we hid in the secret
of our bodies
our vows to be
immortal together ?
